"Best free keylogger!!"
Version: Revealer Keylogger Free 1.4
Pros
Accurate, easy to use, goes Invisible, doesn't slow down the computer or browser
Cons
ABSOLUTELY NONE!!
Summary
I've tried other "free" keyloggers, like Refog, and none of them were as accurate or as simple as this one! You don't have to go through a song and dance to hide it and it's easily brought back up. Where Refog slowed everything down and I had to jump through hoops to hide it, you don't even know that Revealer is running. To double check, either check in Task Manager for rkfree.com or hit CTRL+ALT+F9. I use this to keep track of my kids on the pc and where they've been and what their passwords are for various sites like FB. Makes it easier to check up on them and keep up on what others are saying to them. It also allows me to know what's been downloaded to my pc like apps and programs. Great little program. Fast download and even faster, super easy install!! LOVE IT!!!!!!

"Not a virus."
Version: Revealer Keylogger Free 1.4
Pros
-Works
-Free-User Friendly
-Adware/Malware FreeCons
-Can be hard convincing antivirus that its not a virus.
-No password protection
-Less FeaturesSummary
Despite what others think, this software is not a real Trojan. They just cant put 2 and 2 together and figure out that this is a keylogger, so of course there will be a warning, I would be mad if there wasn't. But it works fine, I just wish I could password protect my log. I would give it 4 Stars but because of the low ratings, I think it deserves 5.

"Great program!"
Version: Revealer Keylogger Free 1.4
Pros
Very easy to use. Works on Win 7. NOT a virus unless used for malicious purposes. Anti-virus software will initially recognize it as malicious. You have to allow it in your security settings. Records everything typed including passwords.
Cons
None really. Works great for a free program. Make sure you hide the desktop icon because it won't go away in stealth mode.
Summary
Great free keylogger. Very easy to use. I see from other comments that some people are calling it a Trojan or a virus because their security software says it is. It sorta is, but YOU control it.

"Learn the difference between "trojan" "virus" and "PuP""
Version: Revealer Keylogger Free 1.4
Pros
Excellent freeware program.
Cons
None, except that annoying novice users panic when their anti-virus detects it. This is normal and is expected.
Summary
All Anti-Virus programs are designed to detect keyloggers. If you have one installed on your system and don't know about it, then you want your Anti-Virus to detect it.
Anyone posting a rant saying this program is infected is a total idiot and knows nothing about these things. First of all, a keylogger is NOT a virus, a Trojan is NOT a virus. A Keylogger IS a PuP (potentially unwanted program), meaning that you obviously don't want it on your system if you didn't put it there.
A Virus is a computer program the replicates and spreads, a Keylogger is NOT a Virus!!!
A Trojan is NOT a Virus. A Trojan is a computer program that tricks you into installing it by pretending to be something you want. Some Anti Virus software will detect a keylogger as a Trojan, and their rationale for thinking this is because if you don't know it's there, then it must have tricked you into installing, and if you do know it's there, then you can easily disregard the warning.
A proper detection would be a PuP. In fact I'd be very upset if my AntiVirus didn't detect this (or any keylogger). Think about it, wouldn't you want to know it was there if someone installed it onto your system?
I seriously wish C-net would delete every review that claims it's a virus because the user has no idea what they are talking about, expecially when they list the definition from the Antivirus that claims it's a Trojan, then they decide to call it a Virus.
A Trojan and a Virus are two completely different things and if you don't know the difference, then you shouldn't be offering your opinion.
Normally I'd rate this program at 3-4 stars, but since it's had so many undeserving 1star ratings, it makes it easily worthy of my 5star rating. -
