"Great on XP, dangerous on Vista."
Version: Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition 2
Pros
This app is so cool on an XP system, I can't recommend it enough. Just don't allow it to create and format it's virtual partition on a Vista machine or it could end up, burnt toast!
Cons
But, I'm running two Windows systems on the same PC. Tried to install on Vista, after reboot it blue screened/memory dumped on me (just like Vista SP 1 did). I'm quite certain it did because I allowed it to create it's little virtual partition on one of my memory boards. Too bad really! If I had a PC for each system, I'm sure on XP it would do fine. Under Vista, after it dumped on me, I had to re-install Vista and ZNorton Ghost, then recover it from the cloned image on my external drive. But first, I had to re-seat the memory boards in order to kill the virtual partition.

"Beware - Trialware Software"
Version: Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition 2
Cons
Returnil Personal and Premium edition are both Trialware/Subscription based that expire after 12 months, after you turn off protection and reboot. Therefore you must update or uninstall regardless if you want to or not after 12 months. In the case of the Premium edition you must pay 80% of the retail price after 12 months to continue getting protection.
Confirmed by company on there forums. castlecops.com/t217760-Release_Returnil_Virtual_System_2008_Personal_Edition.html
The license is not free as stated above, but 12 month trialware. The part about No limitations is also false.

"marvellous"
Version: Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition 2
Pros
I installed and forgot.2 days later I was almost dead to see that all my files that were saved ,after installation of the Rerurnil Virtual Personal Edition, into my computer were not saved.I thought that perhaps virus were doing the damages because my computer is full of viruses.I was helpless and even my computer engineer could not understand the matter. He told me to format the drive.Suddenly something struck to my mind and I understood the reason. Thanks to the programme, I don't care for viruses now.

"Does everything it should with ease."
Version: Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition 2
Pros
Once installed, turn on system protection and re-start. Your on a virtual system so theres no way to catch spy-ware, viruses or damage your operating system which I've done to many times without it. It's a superior way to test software including anti-virus programs, tuning, tweaking, registry cleaners, etc. Re-start and the what ever you installed is gone, just like it t never happened. If you decide you like it, start with protection turned off and install it for real. It's simple to use and free just makes it that much better.
Cons
No cons. This is a good, free virtual drive program
