Version: Restorer2000 Data Recovery Software 2.0
"Worthless, doesn't run in DOS mode"
Summary: Doesn't run in DOS mode, if the "damaged" patitions keep Windows from running, this program is worthless.

i haven't tried it with win98, but i was able to access my winXP notebook after i had wiped my partition. windowsXP would not start because my root/only partition info was wiped. so i made a cd boot with pebart. i added restorer2000demo to my iso file. burned it to cd. then booted my notebook which otherwise could not be accessed. pebart bootCD has a 'run' feature. i ran restorer. it found my partition and all files... because restorer has a scan feature. of course, the bios has to see the hard drive for restorer to see and scan it.
i have yet to recover found files as i was using DEMO. and i have to find a way to get files to another hard drive using a bootCD. but restorer2000 works without accessing the windows on the 'invisible' partition.
