Osaxen that exist in the resource fork of the application are automatically bound to. This should ease packing your application. Be sure that the developer of the osax allows packing.
contextual menu in editmode enumerates the 'CNTL' resources which you can choose from
different icons for applet, droplet, backgroundonly and timelet (= when having an idle handler)
Known issues:
The added controls need special handling because they were not originally part of the DITL A routine that should fix this is not available to the standalone application (possibly because I use an ancient compiler), so I try to fix it in another way. You might "feel" the difference.
Do not put more then one item into the apple menu. Resource Runner will try to open the extra items the same way as other items in the AppleMenu are opened and it will fail.
When running from a scripteditor you can (must) specify which DLOG and which MBAR, but when running standalone the application uses the first DLOG and first MBAR it comes across. This is so by design.
