Version: RescueTime Data Collector 1.0.2.01
"How safe is this?"
Pros: If all the activity is tracked on their website, what won't they know or be able to see? Log ins? Paswords? And we think cookies are bad?

RescueTIme just logs the window title, app, and URL (for sites) as well as start times and end times. You can (optionally) limit URL to just the root URL (example: site.com versus site.com/directory/) for additional privacy... But all it's really doing is pushing which apps and sites are getting your attention to a server where you can see the data. Oh, you can also delete bits of the data (or all of it) at will.

This isn't a review -- it's a comment/criticism. You haven't used the software, therefore you shouldn't be commenting here -- find someplace else to criticize. I want to know whether the software does what it's designed to do.

I have the same concern... what tells me that this isn't also a key logger and it sends all my passwords to this web service =S?
