Reportizer works with relational databases via several interfaces: ADO, BDE, or Interbase. It has been tested on the following database types: dBase (DBF), Paradox (DB), TXT, CSV, Oracle, Interbase, MS Access, MS Excel, SQL Server, HTML, Visual FoxPro, MySQL, PostgreSQL. In addition to database reports, Reportizer can build and print file reports. In this case, Reportizer use Windows file system as a database, where folders are tables, and files are table items. Using such a feature, you can print list of files from specified folder(s) (with their icons, dates.). There is an ability to load and print reports from command line with large set of options. Reports can be exported to PNG, JPEG, BMP, or STT (static reports) formats. Export to HTML, XLS, TXT is also possible, but with some limitations due to the nature of these formats.
What's new in this version:
- Expression engine optimization.
- Ability to change report object names in report designer without needing to do it in the report text.
- All db functions in report expressions can now be used in double-pass mode.
- Minor improvements and bug fixes in report designer.
