I've seen many different remote control programs in work, and I think Remote Administrator is the best choice for administrators because of it's speed, security, and reliability.

Summary
I use this program to manage computers around the house and when I'm not at home. It is very easy to configure and did not cause any noticeable performance loss while running. I love the various options to either shut down a computer instead of running around, ftp (while im out), and full control if I need to install something. The only thing I wish they incorporated was an ip notifier. Browsed download.com for that and found "keep me posted" which makes this program perfect!

More features would be nice, but the size, the speed and the price is just fine. And very secure, like the cnet review says. I've been using it for maybe 2 years and never a problem. Tried it on 98 to xp, all are fine, rock solid.
I can't wait to see their version 3. And their ipscanner works fantastic with this: it's free from their web site.
