I was looking for a good way to keep our small team of developers connected, since we are all spread out. This works wonders... especially when we need to VNC into each others computers to debug or test.

fast installation, easy to use... got my private network up and running righat away. I love that everything is based off usernames and that you can login with one name in more than one place.

I don't think you can compare this to Hamachi since it does so much more and you don't need to remember your IP, etc. But anyway my favorite feature is the private file sharing using BitTorrent. You can basically create your own private BT swarm between your friends. No need to upload your torrents to a public tracker, plus it works right from the GUI, so you dont need to do much at all really.. very easy :-)

A copy-paste knock-off of Hamachi, similar to Wippien, but coming from an obscure developer. Just ask yourself if you want to use SECURITY software from a company whose website is registered to

"REALLY WORKS WELL SUPER EASY SET UP - WAY BETTER THAN HAMACHI"

I loved this software so much I registered on CNET just to tell others about it. After four hours trying to get hamachi to work, this software was up and running in minutes, plus it allows remote control - which at the time of this writing, hamachi did not.
