Version: Registry Mechanic 6.0
"Great program!!"
Pros: Unlike most registry cleaners that bluff their way into getting a big count, Reg-mech is far more concerned into what it finds and what it omits. Its not how many it finds but rather what it finds. Registry Mechanic is the safest.
Its compactor is awesome - nerver failed me. My machines always becomes faster after a scan->compact.
It also has a registry monitor that I've setup to monitor my startup keys and notify me of changes to critical sections. Nice and its not intrusive.
The tweaking is great.
Scan speeds are ok.
Overal - easy -> safe and doesn't go overboard. I trust this program - after some terrible experiences in the past using other programs.
This one never fails me.

Cons: Wouldn't mind seeing more direct fixes, like simple managers for add/remove, context menues etc and others.

I too have used this product for many many years and never had a system problem after using it. I was unaware of the registry monitor but as soon as I read your review I found it and activated it. Thanks. Bob in Tennessee
