If you want to create more problems than you fix... this is the program for you!
Cons
Ran registry mechanic and now I can't fax anymore. Neither the programs undo feature or Windows Restore would correct it. I wonder what else you broke, Registry Mechanic.
Thanks for nothing!

I does find some registry errors

The price you pay is, in reality, a subscription and you have to renew your subscription (another $29.95) or you don't get updates.
However it wants to remove many essential entries and caused my pc to conclusively crash. I had to reload much of my software including Windows XP and Norton AV!

Does a good job of identifying and cleaning obsolete shortcuts, program remnants, and references to deleted files.
Cons
Unless you are extremely careful this program can delete wanted information to allow programs susch as McAfee Anti-Virus to function properly

it dose what it says on the tin, if fixes or removes errors from you computer, when i first did a scan using free version it found over 700 errors and it fixed quite a lot, i now only have 450 errors. after the first scan my computer did work a bit quicker.

OMG i looked at the 450 errors it woudlnt fix becuase it was a free version and most of them where programmes i need, it wanted to delete games and mods for games and stuff liek that, it dos ehave a tendancy to go a bit mad when it dose a "deep scan"

Pros
Registery Mechanic Scans your computer for Registery probloms which can slow down your computer. When removing just in case it does any harm it has a system restore feature!
Cons
WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have to register your copy to be able to remove ALL registry probloms (the free version only removes a few probloms sadly!)

I realy wonder how they manage to show a dwarf as a giant. "Registry Mechanic" is a middle to low value cleaner, far behind than "Registry Washer", "nCleaner" and the high value cleaners as "TuneUp Utilities", "Windows Optimizer - Registry Cleaner and Fixer", "PC Repair", "WinASO Registry Optimizer" and the very good "Registry Repair".
Registry Mechanic scores event after "RegDoctor" or "Ace Utilities" and "XP Tools".
"Registry Mechanic" managed (by payed critics of magazines? by a great scale of advertisiment?) to persuade the vast public that their "cleaner" is a top one. In fact it a low class application.
Cons
Out of around 78 Registry errors I had in my system "Registry Mechanic" found and fixed only 3 (yes, believe it) while the other ones were scaning (each of them) at list 60 -70 errors.
So, here comes the question: Why should someone pay for a "cleaner" like Registry Mechanic?
