I'm using the Registry Easy Lite version and it's FREE! It cleans, optimizes RAM memory, can scan and fix Windows system errors, and a whole lot more!
Cons
It's a bit pricy, as registry cleaners go, but well worth the price. You get your money's worth from it and more.
Summary
I first came across this registry cleaner 3 years ago, and had I known about it before I bought another cleaner, I would have bought Registry Easy instead. As it is, the other cleaner has performed very well for the past 6 years, and I'm satisfied with its performance in keeping my registry clean and uncluttered. I do a lot of downloading and testing of software and uninstalling of programs, and Registry Fix has kept up with all of that.
It seems that registry cleaning developers use different criteria for their algorithms for cleaning the registry. At least that's what I've come to learn. So far, I haven't had any problems using Registry Easy Lite along side Registry Fix. I enjoy access to the extra options in Registry Easy, and would recommend it to anyone considering purchasing a cleaner for their Windows based computer. -

My DVD stopped working after running saying registry was damaged. I tried to got to a restore point with no luck. Wrote customer serivce and didn't even receive an email back.

Its not free, but it was worth the cost for me.

They gave me 3 PC licences for registry easy scan and 3 months free trial to 3 other pieces of software. It worked fine for me, I do not understand why so many other reviewers, have had no look.

After I virtualized my computer I tried downloading it from the host site.
At around 3.9 MB, avast! Antivirus blocked and deleted two threats.
Web Shield: W32:Pup-gen [PUP] Action: Connection Aborted.
File System Shield: W32: Pup-gen [Pup] RegistryEasy => RE.exe Action: Deleted.
I'm also now confirming that this product is indeed Malware. Do not download this program. CNET Please remove this. -

Nothing. Re-reading in the cold light of day all the stuff on the RE website, and the various 'reviews' that come up on a search engine trawl, it looks pretty much like a scam through-and-through.

...maybe it isn't. Sure, the program made a right mess of my computer (along with lots of other people's by the look of it). But when I asked for a refund of the purchase price, somewhat to my surprise I got it.
It wasn't totally straightforward though. First, the customer service form on their website kept reporting that the message send had failed. I tried going via their tech support (who have an external email address), but heard nothing back.
I then wondered if it was a browser issue, and re-sent my messages to customer service again but this time with Firefox. It worked; seems their site doesn't like IE8. Almost immediately I got a reply in quaint English telling me how to fix one of the problems I'd reported. I wrote back saying that wasn't good enough, and could I have my money please. We went through a little more wrangling, then I got an email saying the cash was on its way.
Sure enough, later the same day there was a message from ClickBank confirming the refund, then another from PayPal. I've juist transferred the full price I paid out of PayPal and into my bank. To me, this argues for RE being a duff bit of software rather than an actual scam;I I don't know of too many scammers repenting of their sins and refunding disgruntled customers.
One last point. As I mentioned in a reply to one of the more hysterical 'reviews' of RE on this site, I kept my messages civil and businesslike and was careful to avoid name-calling and unsubstantiated accusations. I know I'm more likely to do what someone asks if they treat me like a human being, and I guess that's probably so for people all over the world.
So, if you don't like RegistryEasy and want your money back, my suggestion is simple; use Firefox, and stay nice. -

Slowed my PC down overall. Takes forever for my desktop to load after bootup. Did not resolve the Run Time error I was encountering. Seems to be the cause of random webpage freezes and overall slowness.

I am not affiliated with any companies. I simply ran into a run time error when attempting to install a game. After searching the web for a Registry Cleaner (as I was told a good cleaner will resolve 99% of the run time errors). I dropped about $40 on this one for a 1-year subscription. It found over 2000 items to fix. However, since installing and running it, my PC has bogged way down. My desktop takes much longer to load after boot up. Web pages occasionally freeze up and or take much longer to load. My screen saver never comes on anymore. Plus, it never even resolved the initial run time error that prompted me to install it! I have not, however, unlike other reviewers, Norton did not prompt me of any suspicious activity nor did it find any when I downloaded it. The file seems to have passed the virus check. However, I?m not happy with this product and a bit upset that I was gullible enough to drop $40 on an on-line product that I am only allowed to use for one year that didn?t deliver on it?s claims.

I'm looking for a price when I first laid eyes on this program; don't see it. I downloaded the trial. Where's the price? I tagged the company (THIS INFO IS LOCATED IN THE TRIAL) and realized the company is located in a country I can't pronounce, let alone know where it's located. There are no toll free numbers. They've set up a Post Mail address in Boise, ID USA. It's a post office box. Gez! This smells of a scam all day long. Someone in review mentioned that after money is exchanged, you are told the price. Are you kidding me? Does anybody remember the Nicaragua scams a few years back? Well, It's still going on and now one of 'em is called the Registry Easy scam. Know why it's called Registry Easy? Because It's an Easy scam and it's located in Guagnxi. AND IT'S LOCATED ON FLOOR #6. HAHAHA! WHAT A JOKE! I SEE HUNDREDS OF EYES GLUED TO SCREENS, SCAMMING THOUSANDS, EVERYDAY. DIFFERENT SCAMS ON THE SAME FLOOR AND THAT FLOOR #6.

This was an expensive program. It didn't catch and fix all the registry problems the first time (or after 4 successive scans). Instead of speeding up my computer, it slowed it down 100-fold.

Avoid this program! It is expensive and possibly dangerous! Notice the lack of editor review! When I first ran the program, it didn't catch and fix all the registry problems the first time. I re-ran it 4 times and there were still issues. When I next was working on my computer, it had slowed waaaay down. It took 5 minutes to open an internet browser that the previous day had taken 15 seconds, which seemed like more than a coincidence. I uninstalled and ran Norton, but it didn't find anything and my computer was still ridiculously bogged down. I eventually had to perform a system restore to get it back to normal. This program was supposed to speed it up, not slow it down to a snail's pace. Please, don't buy this program. I don't know if it had a virus or not, but there was definitely something not right about it.
