My Norton software identified the download site as a malicious site.
Summary
I will go no farther with this download. I have no desire to put my computer at risk. If Symantec says it's a malicious download, that's all I need to hear to stop.
Baits you with "free," finds over 11,000 errors, then offers to fix 20 of them. Yes, 20. To fix all 11,000 you have to buy the full version. A waste of time, computer space, etc. . . I hate companies that do this crap!

Updated on Oct 14, 2012Sorry, most recent update was incorrect and was about a different product. Clicked the wrong link accidentally. This product was not tried, for the above reasons. So far I've wasted 15 minutes trying to find a good, free registry cleaner. -

I may have to send the laptop back to HP for repair. It will not allow updates, it causes Vipre to loop but Malwarebytes is really good. A Vipre tech is calling me this afternoon and he is going to attempt to solve the problem. The machine was received on 12/21 and it got a trojan from your program.

Cons
It is infected with the Artemis Trojan. Do not download this software at any cost. It also deletes your restore files in XP so you can't roll back. Despite what some others have said here, the good people of cnet don't seem to listen.
Summary
DO NOT DOWLOAD. CNET, listen and remove this item. McAfee could detect it, but not remove it. Microsoft Malware tool did not find it. Only Malwarebytes software could get it out.
