Version: Regi Dean's Recipes 2.2.1
Pros: A small program that allows you to download as well as add your own recipes to. Recipes are categorized alphabetically so they are easy to find. Manually typing in your own recipe is very easy. A desktop icon lets you access it quickly.
Cons: Some of the words show only partially; don't know why; but this doesn't happen all the time. It's not enough to bother me; and for free, it's still a good program.

Version: Regi Dean's Recipes 2.2.1
Pros: 1. It's free.
2. The window is resizable.
3. Recipes may be downloaded from the website for free.
4. Adding recipes (by hand) is simple.
5. Good for your technophobic Gramma.
Cons: 1. The program was written in 1997, and looks it. Boxy, grey design.
2. Recipes can be placed in different categories, but can't be viewed by category, just by a single alphabetical list on the left hand side.
3. Inability to import recipes from other popular formats, such as Meal-Master.
4. Some recipes included with the program are unusable due to misformatted words and cut-off letters. Weird.
5. Odd Recipe categories included with the program: Muffins / Pork Chops / Cajun / Brownies.

"Easiest recipe archiving database/program!!!!!"
Pros: This program is easy to use and fun to work with. It is set up to for easy useage: for example: when you click on create a new recipe icon another window shows up where you fill in the information such as, name of recipe, what ctagory it is listed under, and if you know the name of the author of the recipe. Then you can start typing in the ingredients in the righthand column, where all you have to to is ype in what the ingedient is and hit enter where a smaller box pops up asking for the amount in which you just type in the amount and whether its a cup, a tablespoon, etc. When you are finished typing in the ingredients, then click on the lefthand column to type in the direcions for the recipe. When your done click on the button to accept the recipe into the database. If you find you made a mistake while typing the recipe, simply click on the wrong ingredient and then right click on the ingredient where another window pops up asking if you want to edit either the ingredient or the amount, then choose either one and make your changes. If you left out an ingredient click on the add ingredient icon on the bottom of the program and enter into the recipe the missing ingredient. If you left something out of the directions simply type in the missing direction(s) and make sure you save your changes.Out of all the programs and databases i've tried over the years, the is the most simplest and most easiest to use!!!!
you can also print the recipe(s)in book form or one at a time....
Cons: NONE!!! This program is the best recipe archival program out there I've seen thus far!!!!!
