Publisher's description
From Just Great Software :RegexBuddy is your companion for working with regular expressions. Easily create regular expressions that match exactly what you want. Clearly understand complex regexes written by others. Use plain English building blocks instead of or in addition to the standard regex syntax. Quickly test any regular expression on sample strings and files, preventing mistakes on actual data. Debug without guesswork by stepping through the actual matching process. Use the regex in your source code with code snippets automatically adjusted to the particulars of C#, Visual Basic, Java, C, C++, Delphi, Perl, PHP, Python, JavaScript, VBScript, Ruby and XML. Version 2.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: RegexBuddy 2.2
Pros: This tool surpasses any online regular expressions tool that I've seen. It's very intuitive to use; I didn't need to read the help file to learn how to use it. I suggest using this tool with "Mastering Regular Expressions" book by Jeffrey Friedl (http: //regex.info/).
Cons: If Download.com used Regex Buddy, they would have caught the URL I posted in the "Pros" section of this review. Since they didn't, my link made it in the review. (To be fair though, URLs are hard to pattern match.)
