  "It recovered a form of the file that was several saves prior to the newest form."

  Pros: It did bring back some of the file, but one that was approximately 3 saves old.

  Cons: Didn't recover the newer changes that had been saved.

  Version: Recovery for Word 3.1

  "works with xp!"

  Pros: Seemed to work well to recover my document.

  Cons: Unfortunately, if you are using the demo, you get just that...an incomplete document. Portions of text replaced with "demo demo demo"

  "this does not work with Office 2007"
