Version: RecordNow 6.5.1
Pros: Record Now is awsome for burning CD's and DVD's. Lucky for me this came with my computer so I did not have to buy it. You can drag and drop files/music onto the program and viola, it chooses the appropriate burning mode and burns it in a flash.
Cons: It does take a while to download if you are on 56k and it does take up 17mb which is a lot for some older computers.

"Great for creating cd's/dvd's"
Pros: Good and it's obvious how you do it. The burning situation time is quick and even the people who use computers least could figure out how to use this one.
Cons: If you burn a music cd, and stick it into your cd player, the songs are all straight smack in a row, no pause like a real cd or anything. So use Windows Media Player or something for that business.

"rubbish doesnt tell u which file it failed to burn its hopeless"
Pros: free via pcadvisor disk version 7.3..thats the good bit..they know not to charge for this rubbish
Cons: i added 5 or 6 files to burn to a blank dvd..windows media player files and a pdf file ive now wasted 3 disks each time roxio says failed to burn and gives 5 or 6 different reasons why this might be..eg if a file names over 110 characters long itll fail, if a nother programmes using the file itll fail...it needs to pinpoint the reason a burn failed and also it helps if it tells you which file its failing to burn!! the only way such obvious flaws could be missed is if sonic the makers of roxio spent 1 minute testing their product, this is rubbish..dvd disks may only cost 30-40p in uk but its the time and effort involved in selecting files to burn thatll stress u out..my advise avoid this.

Pros: Ease of use.
Cons: Doesn't recognize WMA files when you try to burn an audio CD.

Version: RecordNow 6.5.1
Pros: This is hands down, my favorite CD Burning program. It's so easy to use, and not bulky. The little disk in the corner tells you how much space you have left, you can drag and drop files, plus high burning speeds? What's not to love?
Cons: None that I've run into so far.
