Pros
This update adds many different sounds presets, along with a consumer-programmable preset. Greatly increased the sound levels of my Toshiba laptop. Adds much needed versatility.
Cons
Can increase levels dramatically; needs to be adjusted carefully before full potential is realized.
Summary
Great update! Adds welcome adjustability to an already great processor. Versatility allows sound settings for different hookups, e.g. TV, Surround Sound Systems, etc. A welcome upgrade!
It made my, already loud, Toshiba laptop much louder. And it sounded better.
