Does not work - had to use a system restore to get rid of it-No sound and could not play any music files after download.
Summary

Pros
Any new updates to keep your system up to date and safe from Hackers is definitely a plus. It also solved a problem with the player. Another added feature.
Cons
Not everyone knows about the codec. Advertising it with Windows would be a plus in the right direction and give you added customers.

Great update for your player. Definitely a must have.

natively, win7 on my laptop gave very lo sound, but after installing this codec the sound was multiplied, like about a 100 times ! thumbs up, Realtek..

Excellent sound when you compare it to the standard sound of Windows 7
Cons
When you download a new version, the old version has to be uninstalled first, that's fine, after the uninstall the new version downloads automatically then finishes, It should be an ongoing process until the uninstall and reinstall is complete.
Summary
I like it because of it's superiority to other Windows sound systems, it is easy to install, and there are regular updates to keep the sound on top.
