The package includes: Driver/Application Setup Program; RtlRack for Win98/Me/2000/XP and AvRack for Win95/NT4; Realtek Sound Effect Manager. DirectX 8 is required to enable advanced features. Version A3.82 updates Realtek 3D engine and makes changes to the special customize settings.

Version: Realtek AC'97 WDM Driver (Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003) A3.82 (01/25/2006)
Pros: If I could get it to download I am sure I would be impressed.
Cons: I am a occasional user. I spend maybe an hour a night online. I down loaded this program, saved it ti my programs files, and had a problem. On reboot I was left with just the f2 start up screen. My bios had been changed and a few others, rendering my computer useless. I spent 4 hours and for some reason, came upon the correct repair. I have no idea how I did it. I did leave a "CON" review, and it was promptly deleted. That is even more disturbing than the bad program download. I like cnet, now I will have to wait and see

Cons: Popping in the background when computer is idle and the audio in one game is worse then when I used the pre-installed driver that came with my computer.

Pros: i like the features easy to manage and i really see the difference on my pc right away
Cons: it changes alot of things on your desktop that i was not prepared for but i still think my pc is working much since the installation

Cons: after downloading it my computer had absolutely no sound so basically it sux and i recommend not downloading it and if neone knows how to fix my computer plz tell me
