RealPlayer for Android

RealPlayer gives you all of the good looks and feature support you'd expect from this well-established name. It's everything many people love about the desktop app on your smartphone or tablet. It supports all of your photos, video, and music regardless of the file formats. Though it won't wow you with a lot of features, you won't find this type of file support in other apps of this type.

RealPlayer sports a stylish, easy-to-navigate interface. You can get to most of the media you want in seconds with only a few taps. You'll be impressed at the app's sound and volume quality, but you'll need to pay for the upgrade if you want to tinker with the sound. The equalizer and bass adjustments are all tucked behind a paywall. The ability to create playlists and organize your music by artist, genre, style, and more doesn't cost anything, though. While RealPlayer performs like a top tier audio player, it's not an amazing photo or video viewer. Both of those players just mimic the defaults in Android with an added share button. Neither is supported by the app's multiple widget options, either.

RealPlayer offers one of the rare all-in-one media centers on Android, which is worth the download on its own. Sadly, it didn't put nearly as much effort in being a great photo or video player as it did a media player; otherwise it would blow any other app out of the water. It's still one of the best media players for your smartphone or tablet, as is, but an upgrade to the video player would go a long way.
