Version: RealWorld Cursor Editor 2006.1
"Uh Oh!"
Pros: I was making a bunch of cool animated and still cursors (from images drawn in Inkscape- which is awesome) until...
Cons: Norton notified that it had removed the trojan "Bloodhound.Exploit.20"... 10 times! I researched this and found from Symantec and Microsoft that it was designed to exploit Windows through .ani cursor files, and icons. This gets one star from me. Hopefully CNET can remove this and tell me it hasn't brought anything else to float around on my computer.

I read an article saying that there is a way to exploit ALL animated cursors, not just ones made by this program. You must have picked up this trogan somewhere else, and it took advantage of this. I could be wrong, just telling you what I read (it came from Download.com by the way).

Bloodhound.Exploit.20 is dectected using heuristic detection, which means it is not accurate. As an author I am sure the application does NOT produce any .ani files with trojans. It's completely Symantec's fault and quite offending to me.
