  Version: RealPlayer 10

  "highly recommended"

  Pros: better than media player 9, divx player, quick time player.

  Cons: occassionally tries to connect to the internet, which i had configured to stop, but it doesn't stop, had to remove that entry from the registry.

  It seems like you just like Real Player. You give no reasons why the media player is better.

  Speaking only for myself, the installation of this player is highly recommended because the system changes that are made produce a vastly superior sound quality, even when using the windows recommended player.

  Could you please explain the registry path so I can prevent this from happening. I too do not like it when a application tries to access the net by default. Thank you for this help. Much appreciated!
