Version: RealPlayer SP 1.0.4
"Install issues with XP SP3 works great with Vista"
Pros: Plays all your video files. Records & downloads video from the Web. Easy to use. Built in video converter fast & convenient.
Cons: Installation problems, kept crashing WIN XP SP3
Summary: It's a damn good universal player. If your tired of having numerous players for all the different video formats than this player is for you. Very easy to use, once it's installed correctly. Once RP is installed make sure that automatic update is on, it wasn't on my XP pc and I noticed l8tr that this was an update needed for the SP version that I was unaware of. I checked on my Vista pc and RP had already downloaded and installed it.
No need for a video downloader to download from your favorite Tube site, RP SP takes care of it for you. Once downloaded and right from the download window your one or two clicks from converting to another format. I use it to convert media to play on my iPhone 3GS, many portable devices are listed and more are added all the time.
This release of RealPlayer is the first release that impressed me enough to go out and buy the pro version.
