Version: Real Estate Website Creator 1.1
"Do yourself a favor...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!"
Pros: The program interface is very easy to use, as long as you intend to use the one free template Code9 provides, or if you purchase additional templates from them. That's the ONLY good thing about it.
Cons: The program seems half-baked. It COULD have been a nice program, but it seems to me that they got it working enough to sell it and then stopped development. The interface is easy to use, but there is no documentation on modifying the templates. I'm a pro, but it took me two days of trial and error before I understood the relationship between the assorted files that make up the "website" versus the program files--not as simple as you might think. They provide you with only two templates when you purchase the program--a Flash and a non-Flash of the same ugly template. They require you to spend $34.99 for template packs if you want more. If you want to use your own design, as I did, you have to untangle the illogical file structure. Worst of all is "customer service"--about half the time I wasn't able to get a person on the phone to answer questions, and when I did she acted like I was stupid. They do respond to trouble tickets, but I didn't have 24 hours to wait for answers. Do yourself a favor, get something else...ANYTHING else, but save the headache and stay away from this under-developed and poorly supported program.
