"I decided against the downlload"
Pros: While it would be nice to convert paper documents, $130 for a home tool is a bit steep.
Cons: The cost. I came across this as a way to save articles but the cost is too high. I do not know if it works or not.
Sorry.

Pros: It's better than no OCR.
Cons: Very hard to make it work - but it does.
1. File / Acquire Document (from scanner)
2. Process / Recognize Document.
- Nothing else in the program works.
This is not a real 30 day trial.
95% of the program is not accessible ! !Summary: It's better than no OCR. read more

"TRICK - there is NO free trial download"
Pros: There are NO pros -- you cannot try their software
Cons: Their 'free trial' software is $60.
Summary: There is NO way to try their $130 list software to see if it's any good. There is No free trial download anywhere. If you go to their website, they sucker you to a page to click for a free trial, but you are redirected only to a flash demo -- nothin... read more
