Readiris Pro specifications

The update provides improvements in all aspects of the Readiris application, including an improved OCR and PDF export. The following issues are also corrected.

Scanners support:

• Crash occurring while starting to scan or application freezing at the end of the scanning with some TWAIN scanners.
• Image not retrieved from scanner (HP LaserJet 3055).
• IRIScan buttons not working according to the Button Manager preferences.
• Auto deskew option not taken into account.

File opening:

• PDF file is not opening when it is dropped on the dock icon.
• Some specific PDF files not opening correctly.

User interface issues:

• Page deskewing and orientation detection settings are not remembered when saved.
• Voice Over integration missing for the activation steps.
• Stability problem for the Corporate version on Snow Leopard in 64 bits mode.

Export issues:

• Truncated text in output format dialogue box in French.
• Export to an external drive failing for some Open xml and OpenOffice formats.
• Incorrect OCR or incorrect xml index in some specific scenarios.
