"READY TO UNINSTALL"
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
Compared to the other Game Booster, not sure there is a pro.
Cons
Having used the previous version of Game Booster, I can say this one is NO IMPROVEMENT. In fact, I am here on CNet to find another game booster because I will be uninstalling this one. I can only get it to work if I am playing game, and if I do not launch the game from their launcher, the boost does not come on. Sometimes I use more than one screen when gaming - so if I close the secondary screen down, so goes down the game booster. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT !!
Summary
Go find something else - save yourself install and UN-install time.

"Best of a mediocre group of software, but..."
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
Allows you to stop many processes and services of your choice. On a PC with limited resources it will give you a marked improvement in speed and FPS. If you have a fast system with adequate RAM, there won't be much of a difference. It's basically iobit's Advanced SystemCare Booster in a single app. TuneUp Utilities also has a Booster that does the same thing, too. The main benefit on this program was that it was much smaller (only 13MB)...but see con below.
Cons
I preferred version 3.4 when it was just ioBit and not this Razer collaboration. The GUI isn't as user-friendly and you used to be able to just click BOOST without launching a game (if you wanted the Boost for say, more resources for a movie), and you still can, but now you have to use the hotkeys to do so. The new FPS section is a bit convoluted and the program doesn't offer much help in setting it up. AND, the benefit of a Booster App is its' small size. 3.4 was 13MB. This new version with the FPS section is almost 50MB. That's not much smaller than ioBit Advanced SystemCare, which has dozens more functions. And...Green Icon? Petty I know, But I went online and found the red one as I prefer it.

"What The H*ll Happened Iobit??"
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
I was really hoping for something big to happen when Iobit hooked up with "Razor". Right now I am uninstalling this useless app.
Cons
After I configured all the background processes. I turned on the FPS and the Screen feature. Logged on to my MMO. Then watched my FPS drop from 220fps to 17fps. Couldn't figure out why. Tried everything. Nothing worked..Went back to previous version and I'm happy again.
Summary
Very disappointed in this version. I'm sorry but I can't recommend "Razor Game Booster". It didn't boost anything. It actually went in reverse boost mode..Common Iobit, You know better!!..

"BEWARE!!!!!!!!"
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
none, since I got hacked within 3 minutes of using
Cons
BEWARE!!!!!
Installed to optimize Quake 3 game. Went to my usual server and within 3 minutes, a cursor appeared and started opening windows which showed on top of game. Quickly disconnected and have been running anti-rootkit, Remote Administration Trojan (RAT) and anti-virus programs for the last 12 hours. -
"Not Good Enough To Make You Jump Through Hoops"
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
Very slight difference, hardly any noticeable game-play improvements.
Cons
Not good enough for games that really pack a punch on your computer or laptop. If you have very high definition games this program will probably not be good enough.
Summary
It's a very good thing I used a bull e-mail for this program to try it out. Always have garbage e-mails for programs like this that demand an e-mail they have no reason to really have besides selling your information! Basically the jumping through hoops IS ridiuclous for the little the program improves, if anything at all. Hardly noticeable improvements. I play high definition games that love to use a lot of RAM and such. I plan to uninstall and find a different software that doesn't beg for unnecessary information.

"need the 3.4v back at lest"
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
nearly the same as the 3.4v on the important parts just added the signup Bs with new skin and some guides stating the obvious..
Cons
too much of an upgrade.. and yeah i prefer the red over this green one O_o"
Summary
why do we need to sign up boosting the performance a game?? didn't need it before why require it now?
-
"Glad everyone else liked it."
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
Did't even get it to run.
Cons
Wants me to create accounts with a service I'll never use, sign in, who knows what else -- too many hoops to jump through. Not worth the effort.
Summary
From the rest of the reviews, this is great -- provided you want to waste time emailing back and forth to set the thing up. I want to download and use, not download, email, and apply to use. Big, big, big fail on ease of setup. Uninstalled within 20 minutes of installing.

"Umm not that useful"
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
It improved my game by a bout 5 frames per sec and always tells me the amount of fps
Cons
doesn't really change much and defragging is useless
-
"Game Booster boosters!"
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
This app launches quickly and boots up all the games you have. Once you select the game from the icon, zap, your game gets loaded and all systems needlessly running in your background gets paused. (Not any programs that are needed to keep your system safe).
Cons
None that I can see here on my WinXP Pro computer.
Summary
I so would recommend this program! It is very easy to use, just install and have it scan your system for games!

"Best game booster out there!!!"
Version: Razer Game Booster 3.5.6
Pros
Easy to use, and has markedly improved the gameplay, particularly my MMORPGs.
Cons
The GUI is not as user-friendly as it once was, but it is a small detractor.
