Pros
Quick to learn, has intellisense for languages and even jQuery. Easy to publish using SSH/FTP, integrated SQL browser, support for custom libraries and snippets.

Hmm, there may be a way to address this, but when a page is made up of several different files, you have to remember to save them before previewing. I'll check to see if it has a setting that will automatically save them, then update this review.
Summary
I've been using Rapid PHP for about a month now. I tried several applications both free and not free and this one is by far the best. The free ones either lacked the necessary features, were buggy, or both. The not free ones were inexpensive UNLESS you wanted to use them commercially.
Setup was easy with Rapid PHP. The others? Not so much. Rapid PHP starts off with a well written, very helpful wizard that walks you through setting up the application. It didn't take long to realize that Rapid PHP was a quality tool. -

Sure I didn't try everything available, but I did try a couple and found Rapid PHP to be one of the most versatile and easy to use. Just start using it right away, and along the way you'll discover more and more nice extra's. It's very affordable, for every freelance programmer. libraries for HTML, Javascript and PHP, easy to customize.
