Version: Rapid Mortgage Calculator 1.0
Pros: This mortgage calculator is very well organized and easy to use. It calculates prepayments as well. The AMS is very neat and professional. If you're looking for a mortgage calc. definitely go with this freeware calculator!
Cons: The only thing I can think of is that it takes about two seconds to calculate but it's worth it.

Version: Rapid Mortgage Calculator 1.0
Pros: The guy that reviewed this in 2005 must not have done something right. It downloads roughly 6.1 meg and runs just fine. Yeah sure they have links on it to send you to a debt consolidation firm, but for free it generated an accurate amortization table with monthly payments in less than 1 second. The program was exactly what it said it was and worked great.
Cons: I would like it if it were to allow you to add information for taxes, escrow, insurance, PMI, and other fees that you pay monthly to give a more accurate bottom line picture

"Very good, reliable software"
Pros: I have used this program numerous times in the past few years and find it easy to install AND use.
I've had to download it and re-install when I changed PCs and have had no...NO problems with it.

"Cool software you will be able to monitor you debts"
Pros: This software is so cool that you can monitor you mortgage payment and make adjustment to pay it off quickly.

Pros: simple to use, easy to understand
Cons: no comparison feature, no dynamic calculations, all results displayed on a separate amortization display window.
Summary: Ok for simply checking out a loan and allowing certain entries of accelerated payments. But not versatile beyond that read more
