• Deceptively easy, compulsively hard

  Ragdoll is simply to play: start the game and use the arrow keys to move your doll around. But, wait, the doll doesn't move in tune with the keys. It is, after all, a rag doll. And, you have an opponent--a two player game, or single player. You and your opponent are bouncing around in a grid area, running into each other. The trick is to get your doll to float into the other in just the right way to score a "hit." A little splash of blood confirms successful hits, and eventually you or your opponent get enough points to win. It's just the kind of game I like, slow and low stress. No explosions or space aliens or armies to keep track of. Just a little late night enjoyment that you just can't seem to stop playiing.

• Can't put it down.

  Pros

  This game rocks. You can play it for hours without getting bored. THe continuous onslaught is really fun, and although you only control the movement of the person, how you move the person determines what type of attack you use. You have to download this.

  Cons

  The only bad thing is that it's sharware. In my opinion, though, it's worth it, just like Stealball and Nball. When I get the money, I'll be buying all three.
