"Yeah, it's not free, but I like it"
Version: Radio365 Client 1.1
Summary

I know that I can live with iTunes for free, and I can use shoutcast.com to play stuff, but I think they've done a nice job with the interface, especially the integrated search for stations. I move back and forth between comedy, NPR, classic rock, latin, and bhangra, and iTunes just doesn't have a nice interface for that kind of thing. Now that I'm no longer a starving student and it's not *that* expensive (if you sign up for a subscription, you don't even have to pay for the player), I'm seriously thinking about it. -

Great iTunes like interface, very intuitive and slick. If you like Live365 streams, try this.
It's exactly the opposite of the kind of thing we're always griping about, like "why don't the make a mac client" or "the mac version sugs compared to the windows version." This is a really cool thing.
It's upfront when you first use it that it's 100 hours of trial, but if you become a member (or are one already) it's just 3.65 bucks a month. Not bad for this many streams-really cool, in fact. -
"Radio365 is great"

First in response to pollywog: (1) this program does not claim to be free, so criticizing it for not being free is unfair. (2) Listening to Live365 IS FREE, if you do it through your web browser at live365.com and you choose not to upgrade to a VIP memberships to avoid ads. (For an example, go to CelticChristianTunes.com, click "Listen Live" and follow the directions.)
This beta software is a 100 hour trial, so I assume that after the 100 hours either it will cost money or it will be available only to VIP members (it doesn't say--documentation is nonexistent, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars; Live365's upload software for station owners is the same way). Speaking of stars, this software should be rated for its own merit. It's a great alternative to their online player, and it has no ads. It allows you to navigate your presets, search for new stations, and view station info about the station playing. Without this software, all of these functions require visiting a separate slow-loading page on the Live365.com website.
