Version: Rad FTP 1.5
Pros: It works and it's completely free.
Cons: It's not very intuitive (you can't click on a user-account folder to open it; you have to type in the address) and it takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to access your site and download or upload anything. I'm talking less than a kilobyte per second. Not worth it!!

Summary: My Free Webhost doesn't allow Java Server Pages, so I cannot use this program... keep trying, and you'll go far. Also, most webhosts don't allow PHP FTP commands or any FTP commands through your scripts due to security reasons. read more

"I can't really give it a fair assessment..."
Summary: This program has no actual installer. It uses a .jar extension. I have no idea WHAT that is and frankly, it scares the heck outta me.
I wouldn't recommend this for anyone other than the computer programmer. read more
