    "A LifeSaver-Great Tool"

    February 8, 2012  |   By cyberfreefan

Once again, my computer has been saved from total destruction by Bleeping Computer. I was invaded by an especially nasty System Check trojan yesterday (bundled with a few other nasties) and was able to clean my completely hijacked system with the help of RKill. The trojan had disabled pretty much everything in my system that could have helped me and RKill let me regain control. Finally tonight, I am malware free again! I can't believe the negative posts. There is nothing on Bleeping Computer's site that could be classified as malware; quite the opposite. These people are saints. I can't believe they will spend so much time and effort helping people like me attempt to rid ourselves of the messes installed on our computers by scam artists and expect nothing in return.

None-I did not experience the possible false positive (fully disclosed when downloading the tool) of my Antivirus software detecting RKill as malware.

I highly recommend the RKill tool anytime Bleeping Computer suggests it to help remove malware (or anything else they recommend for that matter!!!). It is the first site I go to whenever I have computer issues.
