"LOADED WITH A TROJAN"
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
I don't see anything I would rave about.
Cons
If AVG would not have picked it up, I would have had a Trojan virus on here.
Summary
Would not recommend unless you are a real computer nerd that can get around it.

"It works...eventually."
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
Its simple. Save to desktop (transfer from a usb stick as you probably cant download while the malware is on your computer). Keep clicking the program until it does something.
Cons
When you click it initially it doesnt look like it is doing anything and this leaves you frustrated. But patience. Keep clicking and giving it time and you will get there. A DOS type box should pop up once it is working.
Summary
you have to click on it a few times once it is on your desktop as it initially doesnt seem to do anything. But eventually it will open a DOS type window and it does something that works :) Then install a anti spyware program like Malware bytes to get rid of malware permanently.

"Downloading RKill = Trojan Virus"
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
None at all.
Cons
Warning: Downloading this product is guaranteeing that you will be downloading a Trojan virus!!
Summary
Unless you want a Trojan virus I would not recommend downloading this onto your computer.

"Used it twice in one week to save family computers"
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
A family member had no current anti-virus software on WinXP machines; kids using it with tons of Facebook and other activities. Can you guess? This worked well to stop the malware enough to let me run other fixes.
Cons
None really; worked as described.
Summary
Liked it, have it on my first-aid flash drive now.

"Finally ... something that worked !!!"
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
Only took 2+ months to find something that really works .. after start up it always came back .. the worm that is !!!
It did just as said and the virus tried and tried so hard to fool me , but after all the scans with 5 different virus/maleware toolsCons
You need to run in different files and places to work right , but I got it !
Not really a con , just me not knowing everything about computers !Summary
It does what is was made to do and well !!!
I did one more scan .. just because !!!
Nothing ; ))
I will still scan daily and if any issues pop up ... I will post them
Thanks Rkill ...... You Rock !!! -
"Yep, that's what it does"
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
It's small and it works.
Cons
No two player mode and enemy AI is predictable... but of course, it's not a first person shooter.
Summary
Had a virus that was blocking malware removal tools from working. Downloaded this. The second after I ran it, AVG popped up with the threat identified. I'm sold that this is definitely a handy tool to have in my computer maintenance tool-kit.
I just now ran it on a computer I just kind of suspected of having a virus, and the same thing happened. AVG popped up with the threat identified. THIS PROGRAM IS A MUST-HAVE!
I don't know if it requires regular updates to keep up with the latest threats, and it doesn't seem to have built-in online updating, but it worked on a virus that fooled a couple of up-to-date tools, so I can't complain.

"Does what it is designed to do."
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
This program will usually stop any malware that is running os you can run a malware cleaner.
Cons
Sometimes difficult to run it because of the malware blocking programs.

"An amazing little goodie! Really does the job."
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
Small, fast & efficient, RKill is like a heat-seeking missle that knocks out the problem keeping most other anti-malware programs (that I've tried) from being able to do a complete clean-up.
Cons
Not really a serious problem but the 1st time I attempted to run it I couldn't tell if it actually ran or did anything. However, every time I've used it since then, it has gone to work in a flash and reported back promptly after it was done.
Summary
I've found it to be a very effective "first strike" anti-malware tool. I followed the procedure recommended by maralro (above) and it worked like a charm.

"Really Works"
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
What a great little programme. I have now used it on the computers of two friends which were strangled by the virus that says it is an Anti Virus System and it worked a treat
Cons
I have not found any negatives
Summary
Put Rkill on a USB key from a different computer and log onto infected computer as a guest. Transfer Rkill to desktop and double click. Depending on the infection you might have to try this a few times. Once Rkill and stopped the virus working immediately download a good anti malaware such as malaware bytes and scan and clean the computer.

"Identify the spy that use internet connection."
Version: RKill build 4
Pros
It works. Killed spy program from my computer.
Cons
It does not detected all files. Anti spyware is needed to perform additional actions.
Summary
My computer was infected with adware. This tool helped me to identify the problem. But one has to use another program to fix problem or do directly from regedit.
