Installation was smooth and low on memory.
Cons
This software claims to have a big database of virus and high detection rate but none of this is true.It missed the following threats:Trojan_killav, Trojan_sub7, exploit_ dhtml.f, html_lamedon and cascade virus.Some of these threats disabled rav antivirus and did cause damage to my computer.That's why I am not recommending this antivirus software.

this is one of the better anti viruses it beats norton but not kaspersky. the anti virus database is pretty good considering other software. kaspersky has the highest anti virus database though try it for urself.

This product will work as specified. RAV8 found viruses that another leading anti-virus software did not detect.
Although Microsoft is acquiring this product line....I feel that it is a great product for the time....We will just wait and see what is in it's future. -

Ok very good program, but notices does not work well with MSIE 6.0 SP-1, with 5 and 5.5 will scan downloads with 6.0 will not !!!!!

With RAV i succeeded to get rid of a virus that NAV and other antivirus programs haven't even detected. And it's also very easy to use.
