"Really works, extends the usability of old computers."

    November 15, 2011  |   By Shocktribe

    Pros

Set it and forget it operation.

    Cons

    The interface is old school.

    Summary

This is on the XP machine I gave to my mother to browse the internet. It has 512 RAM. It previously locked up when doing memory intensive operations such as using Google Street, but after installing this, it works better than it did when new.
You have to set up its' parameters, such as when it frees up memory and how much to free up. Don't simply install it, and expect it to know what you need. Once you set the parameters, it does everything on its' own, and works like a charm. I would even install this on my Windows 7 machine, but it isn't listed as a compatible OS.
