"Awesome program for older machine."

Pros
Simple and effective. I'm running ME with 32Mb Ram and before RamBooster I couldn't browse and use Yahoo messenger at the same time. While my system is still extremely slow, I can now run more than one program at once. Cudo's to the author.

am afraid am going to agree with the reviewers who say "if you want more ram...buy more ram!" an application can simply create something out of nothing, you can gain speed for 2 seconds after it worked but not for long. still try it.

All of these " Ram Boosters " " Ram Optimizers " " Ram Defrags" etc, What most of them do is reset windows counters, so that windows thinks it has more free memory than it does. Thats the truth of it. And any acutally deframentation of RAM, will make SOOO little differance its irrelivant. Because by the time you have finished defragmenting your RAM, a whole load of new information is loaded back in.
Its not like Defragmenting your Hard Drive, wich actually will make a diffrence.
These programs pray on peoples ignorance, of what is hapening, and missuse of statiscs to sound impressive. Claims of upto 300% improvement on speed, and the likes, are just absouloulty ridiculous, you wouldnt even get that kind of improvment by doubling or even quadroupling the amount of RAM you have in your system, let alone ussing a silly con proram that resets a few counters, and displays the info in a graphical display.
The truth is, either you have enough RAM, or you dont. And if you dont, then buy some cos its extremely cheep.
This software is junkware.

"Do Not Use With Windows XP or Mozilla Firefox"

I can't say how well this product does on other systems but it was surely not meant for use with mine. I use Windows XP and Firefox as my internet browser. After installing this program and surfing the web, I immediately noticed that all the sites I visited were out-of-whack. The color and images were gone from most sites and the font and format of the pages were all messed up as well. Had to uninstall the program through windows add/remove software since RamBooster doesn't have its own uninstall capabilities. After uninstalling it the problem still remained, though slightly better.
Avoid this program if you are using WindowsXP and/or Firefox.

"Thee most useful RAM optimization tool I have yet to find!"

In a word: FABULOUS! I asked this program to optimize my PC for 256MB of free ram, and it gave me well over 300MB!!! I had been trying RAMIdle LE prior to installing RAMBooster; RAMIdle pales in comparison!
Cons
Well, even though it has literally been only moments since the time of install, I have no CONS or negative remarks about this program.

Pros
This program is SMALL! It barely leaves a footprint on even the oldest PCs. I've used it for several years on Win98, Win2k & WinXP and have always been extremely pleased.
Cons
When it auto-optimizes, you cannot interupt the action, so close the program before you use any CD/DVD burning software, or you may run short on availabe cacheing space.

I've tried many different softwares of this sort and most of them froze up my computer while freeing up ram but this one didn't. My pc actually seemed to run faster and smoother.
Cons
This was the best ram software I had ever tried(and I tried many)up until the point when I constantly start getting out of memory messages! The primary fuction of this software was to prevent that problem but it didn't deliver! I switched to RAMpage, a similar software and I haven't had any problems since. Also, RAMpage is freeware as well.
