"Simple and Easy"
Version: Quintessential Player 5.0.121
Pros
Its really good if you want something simple just to play music
Cons
Nothing I've noticed so far it's pretty straightforward for anyone to use
Summary
My windows media player 11 recently had issues launching so i needed a music player just to listen to my music mostly, It's simple and has a lot of skins to choose from if you like personalizing your computer, it's a small file too so if you're looking for something small and simple I would recommend this:)

"This is a great product!!!"
Version: Quintessential Player 5.0.121
Pros
It is easy to use, quick to set up and adding things to it is fairly simple. I like the play que, you can set up a list of stuff to listen to, and change it depending on your mood at the moment.
Cons
It can be a little confusing until it gets itself completely set up. It has no burn disc feature. It doesn't like things in Winamp format.
Summary
This is one of the best media players I have run across. I have recommended it to several of my friends already. With the downloadable skins it can be made fit fit just about anyone's taste.

"Old version was better"
Version: Quintessential Player 5.0.121
Pros
This used to be a great product. It still runs like the old one. But...
Cons
I have no clue why, but QP scans many of my files and renames them. I did not have this problem with QCD 3. Some of the artists and song titles it comes up with would be hilarious, if it weren't MY STUFF. I can't find a forum or contact address.
Summary
I can't find anything better to use. Any suggestions? WMP sux, WinAmp sux, RealPlayer REALLY sux, and I hate Apple products.

"I like it, good interface."
Version: Quintessential Player 5.0.121
Pros
It works well for me.
Cons
I haven't used it long enough to find any but, I'm sure there are
Summary
For me it does everything I need. The first thing new users should do is go through the advanced options. It is not as techie as foobar. I tried it and it seemed I fought it all the way. The tagging is done through grace. I have always had luck with them. I read one review that said it took a long time to load, but I loads faster for me than Winamp or Media Monkey. Even with a large library. I have not tried the video and probably won't, VLC does anything I ask it to. I realize there are only a few people that read the reviews, but if you read this; try it. No cost and if you don't like it uninstall it. No harm no fowl.

"Original was better"
Version: Quintessential Player 5.0.121
Pros
It works ok
Cons
Loads way to slow- dosn't want to load codec's for file coversion such as mp3 so have to use old one to convert from cd or wave to mp3
Summary
I still use the old one on 3 of my computers even though i have the media player one on them also because it lags to much.
Only use the media player on 1 laptop because I can't find the original one to reinstall. -
"Awful Tagging System"
Version: Quintessential Player 5.0.121
Pros
Attractive Skin
Small CPU FootprintCons
Slow, Inaccurate Tagging System
Summary
I've been looking for a media player to replace the infuriating iTunes; it seems all I can kind is more programs to infuriate me. QP is a nice-looking program, runs clean, but when it imported my library, I let it automatically look up the info for my music collection; big mistake. I have a lot of j-pop and foreign music, and it slapped the most random labels on the songs it didn't recognize. There is an option to update using the song's own tag, but it's been slow to respond, and frankly, I do not feel like re-tagging a couple hundred songs. I'll stick with FooBar and give this one a pass. Will be good for someone who doesn't have unusual files to tag, though.
