"Does everything I need it to do."
Version: QuikCalc Amortization 7.0.45
Pros
I handle several contracts and need to keep track of payment breakdown on each, and this program does that perfectly.
Cons
Haven't found anything I don't like about QuikCalc.
Summary
I use QuickCalc throughout the year to keep track of payment breakdown on contracts and for the end of the year, tax statements.
I especially like the fact that due to an interest and/or payment change I can easily change the interest/payment amount and not lose any of the previous information. It just continues on. It has worked for me for several years w/o a hitch. No complaints from me. -

"Does not calculate bi-weekly and semi-monthly due dates"
Version: QuikCalc Amortization 6.0.57
Pros
Software is well layed out and easy to use. Saves loan data and is easily accessible from their "Open Saved Loan" option.
Cons
This could not give me bi-weekly or semi-monthly due dates and although the amortized payment is correct, the software does not show the mid-month payments and calculates a large principal payment on the last payment date because of this.
I also tried to change the calculated amortization amount to round it to the whole dollar, but this amount changed back to the calculation when I saved the screen entries. This problem coupled with the interim monthly payments not showing on the amortization table make this program far from working correctly and thus not recommended. If you're looking for one month at a time, this might work for you, but that is also you can get free from many web-sites.

"Must have for seller finance!"

Pros
Allows input of over payments, late fees, and recalculates balance due. Also does amortization schedules. A must have for property owners that seller finance!
