Version: Quickzip 4.60.014
Pros: I downloaded the newest version 4.60.016 via his website. Easy to install and uninstall. Works excellent with a lot of different file extensions like IZArc, but IZArc can't be uninstalled completely. Before Quick Zip I used CAM UnZip for non Windows XP versions and Windows XP built in Zip/Unzip utility in Windows XP, but these can only extract .zip files. I am very glad with Quick Zip.

Version: Quickzip 4.60.014
Pros: +Ve: Genuinely free unlike Winzip. Has far more functionality also.
Cons: -Ve: Coding and functionality excellent. Graphic design is also functional rather than sharp or trendy.
As the author has put so much into the coding I would personally like to see someone who has benefited help him with some shaded areas, rounded icons and the like. (Me? I'm a fellow coder - similar issue or I would offer to help!)
Great program really. Has much to offer that Winzip doesn't.

Pros: it does everything i need to unzip and zip files from the internet.it does what winzip & winrar does except it's free forever
Cons: 1)to many options
2)only repairs zips

Pros: It has a similar interface to Winzip and can handle various file extensions.
Cons: A help file would be nice as I have no idea what some features do. eg. Batch Zip, Archive Convert. Also, I have problems associating QuickZip to file extensions. (I get a error message "Failed to set data for".)
