Though this simple program might be useful for quickly jotting down and storing notes, the demo version is marred by so many limitations it's hard to tell. Quicky Notes sits in the system tray and offers a sparse interface that displays five tabbed pages, but only one page can be used during the trial and you're limited to 500 characters. Unlike similar programs, not even the most basic of formatting tools is offered. The single option the program offers is word wrapping. You can export one or more pages in text format only, insert the date and time, and rename the page tabs. Text is saved automatically. Overall, the negatives outweigh the positives and better notes programs are on the market.
