QuickTTestX is a programme for calculating means, SDs and SEMs and testing the significance of differences using Student's t-test. Its main advantage over other statistical programmes is that data can be input not only as individual values (from the keyboard or by import from a text file) but also as mean +/- SD or mean +/- SEM for groups.

What's new in this version:

  • Improved routines for calculating significance.
  • The analysis results now show the critical t-values.
  • The option to choose between 2-tailed and 1-tailed tests has been added.
  • A more rigorous implementation of the approximate t-test is now used when the variances of the two test samples are significantly different.
  • Improved saving and printing of results.
