If you have score of .php files to search, to find the ones that you need to edit, WinXP is no help. QuickSearcher does the job brilliantly, displaying not only the filenames but the text context in which it has found your string.

Works as advertised. Searches multiple directories and subdirectories thereof. Finds text within file types that the built-in Windows XP Search will not find. Free version only searches, but pay version also does replace.

The only bad thing is that if u choose several directories to search from at the sime time, it'd send you few hundreds of error windows... but it works fine around the search-text-within-files problem on XP that microsft is not interested in solving...
