While you won't get a multitude of features, this handy application does what Windows Explorer won't do without making you jump an extra hoop. The application displays details on the data inside a folder. The Windows Explorer-like interface is easy to comprehend, even for basic computer users. Not only does Quick View Folder Size show the total size of each folder, you'll like that you can see at a glance the number of subfolders and files inside the main folder. (With Windows Explorer, you need to right-click a folder and view its properties to get this information.) We like that it snuffs out bulky hidden files. Also you can sort by name, date, size, or any of the parameters. However, that is the extent of Quick View Folder Size's offerings. Despite the 14-day trial period, this program is a quick way for any user to find space-hogging folders.Publisher's description
From JKLNSoft :When you want to know the size of the folder, you have to right click on the folder name and have to choose the properties one by one. Now you can view folder size rapidly and automatically, use Quick View Folder Size. Version 3 add some abilities and bug fixes.

Version: Quick View Folder Size 3
"Not for exploring your office network"
Cons: This product will search within a network file structure to let you know what folders contain any data, but once you hit the back button to get to where you were, the program locks up. I repeated this several times with the same result. The last time I left the program alone to resolve itself, and before I could log onto this website to write a review, my CPU was working way too hard....
