"Good sound, easy to use, but bad video quality and big files"
Version: Quick Video Converter 3.2
Pros
Real good output sound, very easy to use.
Cons
Astonishingly bad output video quality, and esp. MOV files are really huge (but still have bad video quality !)

"Does what it says, but with problems"
Version: Quick Video Converter 3.1
Pros
Very simple interface that shows you exactly what the program is going to do, allows you to chose what format the output will be in, and chose your own compression frame rate.
Cons
Uses up a lot of memory and CPU - nearly impossible to use any other program at the same time without a lot of lag. Also, while joining two avi files that together were about one gig, the output file grew to over 80 gigs, and that wasn't even the finished file! Obviously, the compressor has a few kinks to work out.

"IT WORKS GREAT!"

Nice ... just nice and simple. The bet I've found. The priceis also right.
Cons
Could be a tad more generous with the tryout!

"Would be great if it wouldn't crash every time I use it!"
Version: Quick Video Converter 1.5
Pros
Easy-to-understand user interface - input files, and output files. First 15 conversions are free, so you know if you want to buy or not.
Cons
I'm running XP (home) and I can't seem to get through an entire conversion without hanging the program. Glad I didn't buy it...

"Fast accurate conversions!"
Version: Quick Video Converter 1.2
Pros
Interface is simple; program allows for converting portion of a source file with easy time sliders; worked the first time I tried it. Quick execution of conversion makes it easy to experiment with various formats for most suitable output. Well worth purchasing; 15 free conversions in trial period is enough to give you the feel for the program.
Cons
When converting a partial file I had to rename the first part before converting the next part, as there is no "save as" type function. Without manual renaming, each part will overwrite previous.
I don't know the technical terminology used when selecting output, so had to use trial and error to find the best settings for my purpose.

"Disappointment"
Version: Quick Video Converter 1.2
Pros
I really like the idea it's so compact and priced reasonably.
Cons
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get anything done with the program because it would freeze up my Win XP whenever I attempted to use it.

"Converts MOV to AVI/MPG without watermark - just what I was looking for"
Version: Quick Video Converter 1.2
Pros
Simple, easy and quick to use. Converts between many different file formats incl. MOV, AVI, VCD, MPG, etc. Output video quality is ok, not amazing but satisfactory, and most importantly no watermark / nag text.
Cons
Output video quality only satisfactory. Default output directory should be same as input directory. Otherwise everything's excellent.
