"Very basic"
Version: QR Code Generator 1.0
Pros
Can generate codes
Cons
Not a lot of flexibility
Summary
Rejected my URL because I was using a DNS alias. There's no need for that restriction. If I tell to generate something, just generate it.
Also annoying there weren't any options to control size. If you have online access, there are many websites that do much better. -
"Works as described--No Fuss, No problems"
Version: QR Code Generator 1.0
Pros
The user interface isn't fancy, but what you need is there. Makes QR codes for url's, contact info, etc. You can test the code on your screen if you have a smart phone or tablet.
The saved QR boxes were easily pasted into flyers and worked well even after shrinking and stretching. No problems on 64 bit Vista system.Cons
Installs an on-line backup program without asking. This can be removed, but it is fairly intrusive if you don't remove it. The interface doesn't provide a lot of hand holding and doesn't install any shortcuts, but the program does show up on the start menu.
Summary
For someone like me that needs occasional QR's this fits the bill well. It isn't set up to load multiple addresses, but for including a QR on a flyer or business card, it is a great little program.

"Unsolicited search engine install (Babylon search)"
Version: QR Code Generator 1.0
Pros
None. Big mistake installing this. If I could give it no stars I would.
Cons
Overwrote my default search engines and installed Babylon Search. Terrrrible!!! Took ages to uninstall. Never trust anything to do with Babylon - its affiliated software (they have heaps). CNET, how can you let this happen.
Summary
DONT INSTALL THIS PROGRAM. CNET, you need to take this product off your download list. I'll report a problem with it now.
