Pros
Have you heard about Androsa?
Cons

Summary
I see some people have problems with this program (the blue screen). Well, here is a perfect alternative: It's called ANDROSA FILE PROTECTOR, it's simply the best and it's... FREE! Gratis! I had some expensive hide-encrypt programs, I tried them but went back to ANDROSA. It's simply the best! Try it! You won't be sorry! Good night!

"Pretty Simple"
Version: Protected Folder 1.0
Pros
Cheap at $19.99 and delivers what it promises.
Easy to use Drag and Drop system.
Little to no Resource use - During locking and unlocking.
You can choose to hide the folder completely (IE no thumbnails) or you can expose it as any normal folder, but not to access or delete or copy or anything.Cons
You if you need to say... upload a picture from a locked folder through a web browser (as in uploading to Flickr from a locked folder) It won't let you. You have to unlock the whole folder first.
This means you have to remember to lock it again manually after you're done getting that file. So if your house gets raided by the Internet Police, you better hope you remembered to lock everything first...Summary
Choose a password.
Drag a Folder or an entire Volume into the program to Lock It.
Lock and Close the Program.
Now the Folder is locked and you can't access it unless you run the Program. enter your password, and remove it from the "Locked" list. Pretty straight forward.
There is an Exclusion List on the Options by the way. If you can't add a Hard Disk Volume to be locked, check the exclusion list and removed the folder/volume from it.
I gave it a four because it works and it is soo simple to use, but you do have to redo things manually from time to time. Its basically perfect for Folders that are not accessed often. IE, Back Up Folders that sit idle for weeks or months. -

"it does what it says but still risky"
Version: Protected Folder 1.0
Pros
its a good piece of software. it worked well and efficiently for me.
Cons
it only has 10 times usage limit, so each time you press lock and exit you lose one usage. it could get risky as you might lock an important folder/file and run out of your usages.it wont allow any further usage unless you buy it from iobit.
