Pros: This software has a nice intuitive interface, that makes for a smooth learning curve and easy operation. You can layer recordings over each other (imported wavs and mp3s too) for effects like voice over music. Dead air and coughs etc can be cut out easily, and recording quality is as good as your hardware. For those complaining about the promo announcement that gets recorded over your work in the trial version, this is flagged pretty clearly before you download, and the full version, at $49.99, is a bargain.
Cons: The software will create wavs and mp3 files, but getting the settings right for mp3s takes a bit of trial and error - the default settings for mp3 are low quality, and variable bitrate, which means that they play too fast on Flash-based web players and won't burn to an audio CD. But get the settings right, and the rest is a dream.

"Finally a software product that eliminates countless steps in assembling podcast"
Pros: Gorgeous interface. Drop and drag editing and audio file manipulation. Upload RSS, XML and XHTML compliant files. Fantastic product! Extremely stable 20+ projects to date and not a single crash! Bravo, Bout time!

"Overall very nice and easy to use"
Pros: With very little knowledge of podcasting in general I managed to throw together a 25 minute podcast in about 2 hours with this, and I'm sure the production time will go down now that I've had some practice with the program. Fairly intuitive, and what isn't intuitive is usually easily found with either online or in-program help.
Cons: My style of talking leads to a lot of dead air, which I edited out to make the podcast flow better. However every time I did this it split the segment into two segments, which made it pretty much impossible to re-position segments without moving dozens of individual clips. I was not able to find a way to re-combine these segments and keep them as they were. If anyone knows how to do this please pose that info, or e-mail me at randy dot napier at gmail dot com.

"Constantly crashes in Windows XP. Zero support."
Cons: Product crashes every time I try to remove recently recorded tracks from the library. Often unable to import tracks into library. Web based inquiries to tech support never returned. Avoid this product.

Pros: Not being that techno saavy, I wanted something to help me podcast for my blogsite real fast and without too much hassle. Propaganda was it. Wish it were free, but I didn't mind paying the price as I got up and running within an hour.
Cons: Wish there were more built-in sound effects and there was more to it program wise.
