    "Slick reliable"

    February 17, 2011  |   By thewelshman

    Version: Process Lasso (64-bit) 4.0.33

    Pros

I have experimented by turning it off my machine(Win7x64) seems less efficient without it.

    Cons

Author is messing about with licensing.

    Summary

If you want to know what's going on in detail this is for you. I could fine tune operations if there was a help file to explain some of the options.

    "Excellent program"

    February 9, 2011  |   By Rohdog

    Version: Process Lasso (64-bit) 4.0.33

    Pros

Helps older PCs run more efficiently; It enables me to stop (and keep stopped) those annoying self-update programs from running; StarCraft 2 now runs in higher modes with the Gaming mode.

    Cons

I haven't found any with this new version yet.

    Summary

Excellent program for those of us that want complete control of their computers.

    Cons

    Summary

product does what it's supposed to - and although I have 12 paths and 6 cpu's, the software has throttled vatious applications from taking over - and I appreciate that.

    "Controls Runaway Programs"

    October 12, 2010  |

    Version: Process Lasso (64-bit) 3.84.8

    Pros

The program generally does a good job of keeping programs from grabbing control of the computer and not allowing other programs to run.

    Cons

I had Process Lasso crash the computer one time. I suspect the real cause was another program which was out of control and the computer froze when Process Lasso tried to limit it

    Summary

Overall the computer shows an improvement in performance with Process Lasso running.

I got the program free originally from GIveaway of the Day. When the next version downloaded I started getting the nag screen. I plan to buy the full version soon.
