If you enjoy making terrific slideshows of your photos and videos, this is by far the #1 product out there. Blows the others away, and the output looks really professional. They also provide excellent service and support. Highly recommended.

I have been using this for about 4 years now and have upgraded to Producer which is essentially the same with lots of extra wizards and effects.

Not able to use some MP3 files as soundtracks because they appear as DirectShow on the ProShow Gold drop-down file listings. Photodex tech staff claims this is a problem unique to me and has suggested re-installing the program. But a new installation on a different machine exhibits the same problem when using the "details" file listing. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Very good slide show software with the frustrating exception noted above.

I used this program 'out of the box' to create a memorial video for my wife of 43 years - Lynn. I am a computer professional but I certainly was in shock! I did it with no training and little tutorial viewing. Your program was all of the things that I've already stated. I made three 'takes' in three days - 135 photos and three songs. The third 'take' was lauded and such a professional product that our family and friends suggested that I should create these videos as a profession. That's high praise indeed!

The default transition is the best one available in the program. Really easy to import with no size limits.
Cons
1- should have a built in sound editor.
2- needs a tracking type system for panning photos or, at least, a third pane.Summary
